Kim Kardashian was all glitz and glam at “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” held on Feb. 16 in New York.
Reaching new heights, the social media star popped into a pair of lofty Pleaser Adore 701 platform mules. The silhouette included high-shine silver chrome uppers accompanied by thick see-through vinyl straps that transitioned into breathable and flirty peep-toes.
Thick platform soles standing at around 2 3/4 inches offered Kardashian a major boost while 7-inch chrome stiletto heels elongated the star’s silhouette, creating the illusion of length and height. White velvet insoles embossed with the brand’s logo finished out the set, cushioning Kardashian’s feet. The reality TV star’s footwear pick currently retails for $61.95 via the brand’s website.
Opting for a matching moment, Kardashian donned a form-fitted Balenciaga couture gown. The garment was crafted of dazzling silver sequin fabric and included a plunging strappy neckline and a painted-on look that appeared as if the dress was tailor-made for the star’s frame. Aside from a slit in the back, the dress’s length completely obscured the heels. The SKIMS founder gave fans a glimpse of her shoes on Instagram on Monday, showing them the sky-high heels she was rocking under the gown.
Kardashian is known for wearing bold outfits from a wide array of top brands, including Balmain, Balenciaga, Maison Margiela and Mugler. The former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star’s shoes are equally daring and trendy, ranging from towering Rick Owens platform boots to Yeezy sneakers. For more formal occasions, Kardashian also slips on new and vintage heels from labels including Prada, Manolo Blahnik and Merah Vodianova.
